Weekend Service: Stone Island Spring/Summer time 2017
That is by far one of the best SPW piece i`ve ever purchased. Usually i am not that eager on current seasons, however when i heard there might be a yellow reflective jacket released in spring/summer season 2011 i needed this jacket so badly. There have always been reflective jackets within the last years, at all times in blue and silver. Great jackets, but yellow is a “should have” colour in my eyes. Once i saw the vintage yellow marina reflective jacket i believed to myself: “This color has to be re-launched!” And right here we go. Actually the jacket has a lime-green color in non-reflective state, a really good summer colour, wich makes a superb match with the white particulars. Only when light hits the jacket it reflects in a shiny yellow.Accountable for that could be a garment that’s fabricated from a particular high refraction fabric capable of reflecting even the slightest quantity of gentle, such as a single torch beam at the distance of 300 metres or weak moon mild. The fabric is coated with 1000’s of glass microspheres making the jacket visible in even complete darkness. It has a hid hood, wich could be hidden within the collar for those who don`t like hoods, however i believe a hood makes it even cooler.
The opinions in regards to the current Stone Island efforts are very different at the moment. We have the collectors who nonetheless have love for the old days of SPW and dont rate the most recent efforts nearly as good as the vintage pieces and we have the individuals who nonetheless assume Stone Island releases very great jackets. Well once i look at the latest S/S range i can solely second that. The reflective, the heat reactive jacket, the ventile, simply to call a few. I think the whole vary is fascinating and once i look on the upcoming autumn/winter vary and the new ICE jacket, wich might be released.. I feel Stone Island still has a lot to offer.
