Check out the trailer to "The Expedition". It was just released January 2008 and features music by Ripped. The DVD also features the video "Show Me" by Ripped as a bonus. The background music in the movie was composed & performed by Iain & Sandi of Ripped.

Ripped have been featured on the CBC podcast twice in the past with our song "Show Me". This is one of the biggest podcast shows in Canada.
Once again we have been picked for Track of the week at Garageband :
Anodyne has now been track of the week twice at Garageband ! It is still a perfect 5.0 and is currently # 7 in alternative rock, making us the top Canadian band at Garageband.

Astral Records ( Ripped's Record Label ) has some fantastic news. They have now recruited a new full time partner to work on building their new web presence and DEAD Famous Artist portal for a big new launch on October 21st. They have now got a major radio syndicated network on board to push all their artist's releases on both a physical and digital level. Click below to check out the website.

America is having Presidential nominations for next years elections. This is a very crucial time for the USA and the rest of the world. There is a candidate that we would like you to check out. The 3rd Feature Film of Director "Nigel Hartwell". Music by Ripped, Tenth Planet & L.S.… The screening will be on Saturday October 20th, 10pm at the Brunswick theatre in Toronto (Bloor and Brunswick). Tickets $8.00 upon entry.

"Anodyne" ( the lead track of Blow Your Mind ) has achieved remarkable success at www.garageband.com… It continues to get great reviews everyday and moves up and up ! This is a website in which people give genuine criticism to music due to the anonymous nature of the reviews. You can't get friends or fans to vote and cheat in the results. SAVE NET RADIO !
Internet radio needs our help !! Due to new regulations, there are increased fees for running a Net Radio Station. This will put a lot of stations out of business. Net radio gives us an alternative to commercial terrestrial stations. Ripped are big supporters of Net Radio and want as many stations to continue as possible. Please go to this link and help out

There is much going on in the world of Ripped… Moody has just completed level 1 of "the Singer's Body" by Orville Heyn and Sandi has just done Level 3… thank you to all our classmates for a wonderful time and to Orville for the most amazing teachings. You can see his website at www.orvilleheyn.com. He is a brilliant teacher and a very talented, fun, outrageous vocalist.

A very cool video game now features the music of Ripped… Jari Komppa has come up with a great idea called "Boom Boom Driller" and uses "Anodyne" as the background of the game… he has had great success in game competitions and thousands of fans downloading the game every month… check it out here
